Welcome to PetYupp. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of petyupp.com and any purchases you make through our website. By visiting our site or placing an order, you're agreeing to these Terms — so please read them carefully.

"PetYupp," "we," "us," and "our" refer to ShopYupp Inc. dba PetYupp throughout these Terms. "You" and "your" refer to anyone who visits petyupp.com or purchases from us.

2 Accepting These Terms

By accessing petyupp.com, creating an account, or placing an order, you confirm that:

You are at least 18 years old, or you're using the site with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian
The information you provide is accurate and current
You'll comply with these Terms and all applicable laws

If you don't agree with any part of these Terms, please don't use our site or place orders.

3 Your Account

You can browse and shop on petyupp.com without an account, but creating one lets us save your shipping addresses, order history, and preferences.

If you create an account, you're responsible for:

Keeping your login credentials confidential
All activity that happens under your account
Notifying us immediately at sales@petyupp.com if you suspect unauthorized access

PetYupp isn't liable for losses caused by someone else using your account if you failed to keep your credentials secure.

4 Orders and Order Acceptance

When you place an order, you're making an offer to purchase. We accept your order when we send the order confirmation email — that's when the contract forms.

We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or limit orders in cases including:

The item is out of stock or discontinued
There was a pricing or product description error
We suspect fraud, abuse, or violation of these Terms
We can't ship to your address (international, restricted zones)
The order quantity exceeds reasonable personal-use limits

If we cancel an order after charging you, we'll refund the full amount within 5 business days.

5 Pricing, Payment, and Taxes

All prices on petyupp.com are in US dollars (USD) and don't include sales tax, which is calculated at checkout based on your shipping address.

We accept payment through Shopify Payments, Shop Pay, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and major credit/debit cards. Payment is charged at the time the order is placed.

While we work hard to keep pricing accurate, errors can happen. If we discover a pricing error after you've placed an order, we'll contact you with the corrected price and offer the option to confirm or cancel. We won't ship an order with an obviously incorrect price (e.g., a $50 product listed at $5) without your confirmation.

6 Promotions and Discount Codes

Discount codes, promotional offers, and free shipping thresholds are subject to the terms specified at the time of promotion. Unless otherwise stated:

One promotional code per order
Discounts can't be combined with other promotions
Codes have no cash value and can't be applied to past orders
Promotions can be modified or discontinued at any time

7 Shipping and Returns

Shipping terms are covered in our Shipping Policy. Returns and refunds are covered in our Refund Policy. Both are part of these Terms by reference.

8 Product Information and Disclaimers

We work to describe our products accurately, including ingredients, sourcing, sizing, and use cases. However:

Photos are representative — natural chews (bully sticks, yak cheese, coffee wood) have natural variation in size, shape, and color
PetYupp products are not veterinary products or medical treatments. They are treats, chews, and lifestyle goods for healthy dogs.
Always supervise your dog with any chew or treat, and provide access to fresh water
Consult your veterinarian before introducing new products if your dog has known health issues, allergies, or dietary restrictions
Discontinue use and contact your veterinarian if your dog shows any adverse reaction

Nothing on petyupp.com (product descriptions, blog content, AI advisor recommendations) constitutes veterinary advice.

9 Intellectual Property

All content on petyupp.com — including the PetYupp name, logo, "PetYupp | Pet Lifestyle" tagline, "Journey of life — share it with your furry buddy" tagline, product photography, copy, illustrations, and the overall site design — is owned by ShopYupp Inc. dba PetYupp or used with permission, and is protected by US and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or use any PetYupp content for commercial purposes without our written permission. Personal, non-commercial sharing (e.g., posting a product photo on social media with attribution) is welcome.

10 User Content

When you submit content to PetYupp — product reviews, photos, survey responses, AI advisor questions, social media tags — you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute that content in connection with promoting PetYupp.

You're responsible for the content you submit and confirm that:

You own the content or have permission to share it
It doesn't violate anyone's rights (privacy, IP, publicity)
It's not false, misleading, defamatory, or offensive

We reserve the right to remove any user content at our discretion.

11 Acceptable Use

When using petyupp.com, you agree not to:

Use the site for any illegal purpose or in violation of any law
Interfere with site security, availability, or other users' access
Scrape, copy, or harvest data from the site without permission
Use bots, automated tools, or unauthorized API access (other than standard browsing)
Misrepresent your identity or attempt to access another user's account
Reverse-engineer any part of our software, including our AI advisor
Resell PetYupp products without an authorized wholesale agreement (see our Wholesale page)

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of this section.

12 Disclaimers

petyupp.com and all PetYupp products are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties — express or implied — including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We don't warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We don't warrant any specific outcome from using PetYupp products (e.g., that a dental chew will eliminate plaque, or that a calming product will calm your dog).

Some states don't allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

13 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

ShopYupp Inc. dba PetYupp will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site or our products
Our total liability for any claim related to these Terms or our products is limited to the amount you paid PetYupp in the 12 months preceding the claim
Nothing in this section limits liability that can't be limited under applicable law (such as gross negligence, willful misconduct, or product liability claims protected by consumer law)

Some states don't allow the limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

14 Dispute Resolution

If you have a problem with PetYupp, we want to know first and fix it. Please email sales@petyupp.com with the subject line "Dispute" and a description of the issue. We'll respond within 5 business days and work with you in good faith to resolve it.

If we can't resolve the issue informally within 30 days, either party can pursue the dispute in:

Small claims court in Oakland County, Michigan (for claims that qualify), or
The state or federal courts located in Oakland County, Michigan for larger disputes

You and PetYupp both consent to the personal jurisdiction of these courts and waive any objection to venue.

15 Governing Law

These Terms and any disputes arising from them are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. The UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.

16 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ShopYupp Inc. dba PetYupp, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any law or third-party right
Content you submit to PetYupp
Your misuse of PetYupp products

17 Third-Party Links and Services

petyupp.com may link to third-party websites or use third-party services (Shopify, Klaviyo, payment processors, shipping carriers, social media platforms). We're not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those third parties. Their terms and privacy policies apply when you use their services.

18 Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as our business or legal obligations change. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. For material changes, we'll notify customers with active orders or accounts via email.

Continued use of petyupp.com after a Terms update means you accept the revised version. If you don't agree with the updated Terms, your option is to stop using the site.

19 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full effect. The unenforceable provision will be replaced with the closest enforceable version that reflects our original intent.

20 Entire Agreement

These Terms — along with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Shipping Policy — constitute the entire agreement between you and PetYupp regarding your use of petyupp.com. They supersede any prior agreements or communications.
